PAINTINGS:
FORMS, FIGURES, AND FIGMENTS

Despite
the more visceral immediacy of realism, I lean towards surrealism for most
of my themes. Inspirations come to me in dreams and from personal
experiences, and still others from symbolism and wordplay.
To
grasp the mystery of the human experience, what it means to be human, is
my primary goal as an artist. I'm driven to understand my place in
the universe, how and why we all interconnect. Because of this need,
the human figure has always been my preferred subject.
